Vivo launched the X300 Ultra in China on Monday, along with the Vivo X300s. Both smartphones boast 200-megapixel camera systems supported by Zeiss, teleconverter functionality, and come equipped with OriginOS 6 right from the start. The X300 Ultra prioritizes high-end components with its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and sophisticated telephoto features, whereas the X300s incorporates the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, a 144Hz display, and a bigger 7,100mAh battery. The Vivo X300 Ultra starts at CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 95,900) for the 12GB + 256GB version. The costs for the other options are CNY 7,499 (around Rs. 1,02,700) for 12GB + 512GB, CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 1,09,600) for 16GB + 512GB, and CNY 8,999 (nearly Rs. 1,23,300) for the 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition. The base model of the Vivo X300s is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 68,500) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version, while the 12GB + 512GB option sells for CNY 5,499 (around Rs. 75,400). The 16GB + 512GB version is set at CNY 5,999 (close to Rs. 82,200), and the premium 16GB + 1TB model is offered at CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 95,900).
The company has announced that every variant comes with 200GB of cloud storage for two years, but this offer ends on May 5. The Vivo X300 Ultra is available in Film Green, Silver Tone, and Black colors (translated from Chinese), while the Vivo X300s is released in Film Green, Dream Core Purple, and Silver (translated from Chinese). The G2 Ultra teleconverter package for the Vivo X300 Ultra, including a phone case, is set at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 27,400), whereas the version that includes a professional imaging handle set is CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 34,200). The regular Teleconverter G2 package costs CNY 1,499 (about Rs. 20,600), and the standalone professional imaging handle set is CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 9,600). For the Vivo X300s, the Teleconverter G2 bundle that comes with a compatible phone case is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 13,700), while the Photographer Kit, which features the Vivo X300 Ultra 16GB + 1TB version in Film Green, is available for CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,09,600).
The Vivo X300 Ultra Photographer Kit, which contains the 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition phone, is available for CNY 11,999 (around Rs. 1,64,400), with a total value of CNY 12,999 (roughly Rs. 1,78,100). All the accessories and packages will be limited in quantity starting from April 3. Vivo has also launched a Professional Video Expansion Kit in collaboration with SmallRig, priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 23,300), expected to go on sale in mid-to-late April 2026. The Vivo X300 Ultra is equipped with a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED screen that features a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. It can support up to 16GB of RAM and provides up to 1TB of internal storage. It operates on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 installed from the start.
For the camera system, the Vivo X300 Ultra features three cameras on the back, highlighted by a main sensor of 200 megapixels with a focal length of 35mm. It also has a periscope telephoto camera of 200 megapixels and an ultrawide-angle lens of 50 megapixels. This camera arrangement allows for advanced photography capabilities and comes with a teleconverter for greater zoom range. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel camera for selfies, which includes a screen flash. The Vivo X300 Ultra is compatible with a powerful "Big Gun" 400 teleconverter that offers a focal length of up to 400mm, a 200-megapixel optical output, and as much as 17.4x optical zoom, alongside advanced stabilisation and quick autofocus. It can achieve zoom levels of up to 1600mm while ensuring effective image stabilisation even when the attachment is used. Additionally, the phone includes a lighter "Lipstick" 200 teleconverter, which provides better optics, enhanced stabilisation, and multiple shooting modes in a smaller design. The Vivo X300 Ultra comes with a 7,000mAh battery that supports wired fast charging at 100W and wireless charging at 40W. For connectivity, it features both 5G and 4G networks, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port. For security, it has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo X300s comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat screen (2800×1260 pixels) that can adaptively refresh up to 144Hz. It supports HDR and the P3 color range, along with a maximum touch sampling rate of 300Hz during gaming. The device operates on the 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, together with an ARM G1-Ultra GPU and Vivo's V3+ Blueprint imaging chip. It offers options of up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. In terms of cameras, the Vivo X300s has a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS backed by Zeiss, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS, capable of 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. It includes advanced shooting modes and can record videos up to 4K resolution. Additionally, there's a 50-megapixel camera for selfies. It also works with a "Lipstick 200" teleconverter to enhance zoom capabilities. The Vivo X300s is equipped with a 7,100mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging through wired connections and 40W through wireless methods. It also features reverse charging with OTG. For network capabilities, it includes 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector. The device has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the display and supports facial recognition. The dimensions of the handset are 161.98 × 75.48 × 8.00mm, and it weighs 217 grams.
