Enjoy a rich and innovative program from IDEA (Indian Dance Educators Association) interpreting poems through four different Indian classical dance styles set to American and Indian music. Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, and Odissi dance forms pair perfectly with the featured poems including Maya Angelou’s “Phenomenal Woman” and “Caged Bird,” Sam Levenson’s “Time-Tested Beauty Tips,” and Robert Frost’s “Love and a Question.
