Tata Motors has introduced the Altroz facelift in India, starting at an introductory price of Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the first major update of the premium hatchback since its original debut in 2020. The mid-cycle enhancement brings a multitude of modifications across various aspects of the vehicle, including its design and features. These upgrades are aimed at helping the model compete effectively with rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.

In its refreshed iteration, the Tata Altroz exhibits significant design transformations. The front end features all-LED headlights paired with eyebrow-style LED daytime running lights, alongside a newly designed grille showcasing the Tata emblem. The bumper design has also been revised to impart a more contemporary appearance. Although the vehicle's overall silhouette remains unchanged, it now includes segment-first flush-style door handles, inspired by the Curvv, and a new pattern for the alloy wheels. The rear section has been updated with a new taillight design and an LED strip that spans the entire width of the vehicle. Additionally, the Altroz offers a range of color options such as Pristine White, Pure Grey, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, and Dune Glow.

The cabin has undergone noteworthy updates as well, featuring a new dashboard layout adorned with soft-touch materials. A standout element is the 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen from Harman, which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, sharing the spotlight with a fully digital HD 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Other amenities include ambient lighting, a voice-activated sunroof, a wireless charging pad, an air purifier, and more.

Built on the ALFA architecture, the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift proudly holds a 5-star GNCAP safety rating. This is bolstered by safety features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, fog lights, a 360-degree camera, and a SOS call function, among others. Beneath the hood, the refreshed Altroz is equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, complemented by options for a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre CNG powertrain featuring twin-cylinder technology. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a newly introduced 5-speed automated manual transmission.
