Karan Johar shares a great bonding with most of the Bollywood celebrities. He recently offered a funny and eye-opening perspective on the WhatsApp groups within Bollywood. When he was asked about whether he would ever adapt the conversations from these private chats into a book or film, the filmmaker came up with a surprising answer.During a lively discussion, an enthusiastic audience member noted that Karan likely belongs to the most engaging WhatsApp groups in the Hindi film industry. This led to the query about his potential interest in creating a movie or writing a book based on those exchanges. Karan, taken aback by the inquiry, responded thoughtfully. “If anyone were to gain access to those WhatsApp groups that involve me, it's likely we would need to relocate to London. Our lives here would become untenable,” he remarked.
Well known as a key player in the social scene of Bollywood, Karan elaborated that the conversations taking place in these groups are far from censored. “Let me emphasize that our discussions are exceptionally frank, genuine, and reflective of the current happenings. We act as fashion critics, movie reviewers, and commentators on everything else within our circle. Everyone has their own views, and we can never publicly share those insights,” Karan explained.Currently, Karan is hosting The Traitors, an intense reality series available on Amazon Prime Video. This show showcases 20 celebrities in a gripping game of trust, deception, and survival. The season will reach its thrilling conclusion on July 3. Among the diverse cast are notable figures such as Raj Kundra, Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Raftaar, Elnaaz Norouzi, Jannat Zubair, Uorfi Javed, and others.
