New Bus Options From Loudoun County To Washington

The folks who want to get from Loudoun County to Washington, D.C., have more options beginning from Monday, including the new service from a commuter lot in Chantilly, Virginia.

Starting from Feb. 6, Loudoun Transit will take the commuters between East Gate Park-and-Ride and to several stops in the District.

The bus routes 207W and 211E originate at the Dulles South Park-and-Ride in Aldie, Virginia, with stops at the East Gate.

The bus route 207W includes stops at the State Department and the Ronald Reagan Building, while the 211E line makes several stops along the Independence Avenue Southwest before ending at the 4th and H streets in Northwest.

Both lots provide free parking options for the customers.  The Dulles South lot has 350 parking spaces, East Gate, 218 slots.

New evening bus routes include the 611 and 612. Both stop at 4th and H streets in the Northwest, with pickup points along the Independence Avenue, and at the end of the day drop offs at the East Gate and Dulles South Park-and-Ride lots.

The commuters should also look out for changes to the existing routes, which are intended to ease the overcrowding, boost reliability and save time from the commutes.
