The Vivo T5x 5G will be released in India next week, as stated by the company on Tuesday. This new model follows the Vivo T4x 5G, which came out in March 2025, and it will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor. The brand claims that this new phone will have the longest battery life in its category and will feature an IP68 and IP69 rated design to protect against dust and water. It is confirmed to operate on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. The Vivo T5x 5G is scheduled to be launched in India on March 17 at 12pm IST. After its release, it will be available for buyers on Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and authorized retail shops throughout India.
The company mentions that the Vivo T5x 5G will include a 7,200mAh battery, which they assert is the largest in its category. Vivo states that they have designed this phone to support long hours of use for activities like streaming, gaming, and browsing without the need to charge often. Reports suggest that the phone will have fast charging capabilities of 44W. For durability, the Vivo T5x 5G will have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. Vivo has compared the battery capacity and durability of this phone to other smartphones priced under Rs. 23,000, hinting at the potential price point for the upcoming model in India. This aligns with a teaser from the brand, which noted that the phone is the “fastest device under Rs. 23,000 as of March 5, 2026. ” The Vivo T5x 5G will indeed be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor. Earlier, the brand mentioned that the phone has achieved an AnTuTu score exceeding 1 million points. It will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. More details about this new phone are expected to be revealed during the launch on March 17.
