Narendra Modi Offers Floral Tribute To Shinzo Abe

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew down to Japan to pay his last respects for Shinzo Abe who was shot recently. He attended the state funeral that took place in Tokyo today and paid his floral tributes to one of the best leaders of the world. Japan started a controversial state funeral for Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister today. His widow Akie carried the ashes into the Tokyo Hall and thousands of his fans, supporters gathered in the hall. This is the second time in the history of Japan, a politician got a state funeral and the last one took place decades ago.

More than 60 percent of the people have been against the state funeral. Akie was dressed in black kimono and she carried the ashes in a box that is covered with a decorated fabric cloth. The 19 guns salute sounded in honour of the former Prime Minister. Shinzo Abe changed the foreign policy of Japan and he had a great relation with India. Shinzo Abe met Narendra Modi and discussed about the bilateral relationships. Narendra Modi met Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida an discussed about various issues. Shinzo Abe was the longest serving Prime Minister of Japan and is one among the most renowned politicians.
